ADVANCED OPTIONS |

INPUT FILE FORMAT / OUTPUT FILE FORMAT |
By default, isimSoftware Image Quick Resizer is set and optimized for processing JPG/JPEG files. You will get the best picture quality when both your input and output files are JPG/JPEG format. Nevertheless, isimSoftware Image Quick Resizer supports five graphic file formats:
- JPG/JPEG
- GIF
- PNG
- BMP
- TIF/TIFF
isimSoftware Image Quick Resizer is not case-sensitive and recognizes different file format naming conventions (JPG/JPEG, TIF/TIFF). Please note that isimSoftware Image Quick Resizer doesn’t support resizing of multi-page TIFF or animated GIF images. It only resizes the first frame of the image. The rest of the frames will be lost.
OUTPUT FILE SUFFIX |
By default, the Output File Suffix is empty, meaning your resized picture files will have the same file names as your original picture files. You can add suffix to your file name if you like. For example, if you set the File Suffix as _resized, a file called Vacation.JPG will be resized into a new file named Vacation_resized.JPG.
OUTPUT FILE QUALITY |
By default, quality is set to High. While pictures created in Low and Medium require less disk space, this benefit is typically offset by the reduction in picture quality. For most purposes, it is recommended that this option be set to High.
DISPLAY PROCESSED FOLDER |
After pictures are resized, isimSoftware Image Quick Resizer will automatically start Windows Explorer and display the new pictures within the Processed folder. By default, this option is set to “YES”. If you would like to disable it, simply select “NO”.
PROCESSED SUB-FOLDER IMAGES |
If you have images in sub-folders that you would like to process, you can select “YES”. This saves you time from having to point to each sub-folder and process the images there separately. It will also process any images in the root folder as well. By default, this option is set to “NO”.
OVERWRITE ORIGINAL IMAGES |
If you would like to overwrite original images, you can select “YES”. By default, this option is set to “NO”. When it’s set to “NO”, a new folder called “Processed” will be created to store the processed files. Your original images stay intact.
BACKGROUND COLOR |
isimSoftware Image Quick Resizer resizes pictures in proportion to the original width and height. It will not stretch pictures out of proportion. Any leftover space will be replaced with a white background. To change the background color, click the Modify Color button. A color palette appears. Select the desired color and click OK. isimSoftware Image Quick Resizer will save and remember this setting for future use.
